Course Overview

  • This course is designed for experienced systems or enterprise architecture modelers with either SysML or UPDM 2.0 modeling experience using No Magic Tools (MagicDraw or Cameo bundled suites.)
  • This course addresses all the Model Kinds and View Specifications of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) focusing on the model elements, relationships and diagrams. It includes short, hands-on lab exercises for language features/diagrams unique to UAF. This course does not teach the underlying SysML/UML modeling fundamentals.

Getting Started with Cameo Enterprise Architect

• Overview of new key features in CEA 19.0.

UAF Overview

• Introduction to Unified Architecture Framework
• Differences from UPDM 2.0 and DODAF 2.0

This section of the course describes the model elements, relationships and diagrams that are applicable to each model kind. It also presents the process (tool-user interface) for creation of UAF specific elements, relationships and diagrams.
