No Magic, Inc. today announced the availability of MagicDraw 5.0, the latest version of its visual UML modeling and CASE tool with teamwork support.

The new integration with JBuilder allows users to benefit from the productivity increase not only in analysis and design stages, but also during development, testing, documentation, and deployment stages. Now Java developers have the capability to visualize and model EJB components in EJB-UML using MagicDraw, and then develop them rapidly with JBuilder.

The added new feature enables the communication with the Teamwork Server under firewall. This version also includes repaint and other small MagicDraw client and Teamwork System bugs fixed.

The new version is available for download. We are very thankful to our customers for their help with bug reports.

After 2 months beta testing period we present the most stable version ever. Our users were surprised with the stability of the beta version. MagicDraw has attracted crowds of visitors in the last month's JavaOne show in San Francisco. We are happy to announce that from now on MagicDraw version 4.5 is ready for everyone.

New features of version 4.5 include database and WAE modeling extensions, DDL generation and C++ fixes. Text boxes and notes now can have hyperlinks to other model elements or any Internet URL. Unisys XMI extension for Rational Rose support is also at your fingertips.

This year No Magic has presented MagicDraw version 4.5 beta and its new product Security EVSD. New MagicDraw version gained enormous interest among Java developers.
